Following Juventus’s recent 4-1 collapse at the hands of Villarreal, coach Ciro Ferrara has refused to get downbeat as he looks to stay positive ahead of the new season.
With just 12 days to go until their Serie A curtain raiser against Chievo Verona, Ferrara spoke positively about the Bianconeri’s pre-season preparations in an interview with Datasport.
“Our programme has been followed with the utmost concentration and attention. We certainly won’t let one bad result knock our confidence,” he declared.
“We are trying to build a balanced Juve this year. The squad will need to carry on for the long haul in order to reach the important objectives. Those objectives will remain the same, even after a heavy defeat.
