The match between Juventus A and Juventus B at Villar Perosa is a tradition which has been kept alive for many years. The exhibition match held this year has lived up to its name bringing to the attention of the public great class and talent notwitstanding the many absent players.First and foremost it showed that the project of Juventus with regards to the bringing up of young talent is more then successful. Ferrara who had to deal with a number of absences (12 internationals and players on the road to recovery) borrowed a number of young stars from Luciano Bruni, who’s team on the other hand showed great personality and a strong will to do well.It was Bruni’s team to open the score on the 2nd minute thanks to an excellent Libertazzi who lobbed the ball over Chimenti. The senior squad responded on the 18th minute thanks to Trezeguet with the first half ending in a 1-1 draw. The second half saw Amauri putting the senior squad ahead with a goal on the 50th minute and it was “borrowed” De Paola who rounded up the score to 3-1 to the pain of his usual coach. The referee was forced to end the match 4 minutes ahead of time due to a friendly invasion of the field by the supporters present.
