First training session at the Juventus Center

Juventus got back to work. After the return from Spain and the day of rest, the bianconeri today had a training session in the afternoon, the first of the season at the Juventus Center in Vinovo. The team first took part in a warm-up session and athletic work and then in a series of mini-matches on a reduced field. Ferrara could count on practically the whole group. De Ceglie and Diego worked separately.

The Under 21 international is continuing with his recovery, after the injury to the left ankle suffered during the European cup.

Diego underwent a magnetic resonance imaging test and a CAT scan which showed no signs of any actual lesion and neither past lesions but general strain to the right femoral. The Brazilian will work separately for the whole week, including Saturday and Sunday and should be back in the group by next week.

Momo Sissoko underwent x-ray, CAT scan and magnetic resonance imaging tests which did not show any traces of fractures but an oedema to the left foot which was operated on last spring. Tomorrow he will be visited by Professor Cerulli and in the coming days the therapeutic approach to take will be established.

On Thursday, the eve of the match against Villareal, scheduled to be played on Friday at 20:45 in Salerno, the team will have a double training session. The bianconeri will be on the field at 10:00hrs and at 18:00hrs. At 15:30hrs Nicola Legrottaglie will be addressing a press conference at the Media Center in Vinovo.
