Amauri: Juventus Played Well In The Trofeo Tim Against Milan & Inter
Juventus striker Amauri was the main protagonist of his side's triumph in the Trofeo Tim against Milan and Inter, which was played on Friday evening, and he has declared himself satisfied with his team's showing.
The Brazilian scored the late equaliser against the Nerazzurri in a game that was eventually won by the Bianconeri from the penalty spot, and he opened the scoring in the 2-0 win against the Rossoneri.
These two results have increased the confidence of the Old Lady, and Amauri believes that the team will improve further in the coming weeks, once the new tactics have been digested by the squad.
"All went well," declared the former Palermo player to Mediaset. "We played a nice game.
"Inter put us a bit in difficulty, but we won. We are assimilating the new tactical setup. It's normal that there are some difficulties during this period."
After an excellent start to last season, the 29-year-old player slowed down during the second part of the campaign, collecting 32 appearances and scoring 12 goals in Serie A.
