While Juventus are weighing up a move for Wolfsburg's Cristian Zaccardo, voices around the club suggest that Zdenek Grygera must leave before the signing can be made, however, that is proving a little complicated, as Fenerbahce, who have closely been associated with the Czech international, are yet to make a bid.
The Bianconeri were expecting to receive an offer of €5 million from the Turkish club over the weekend, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
However, no offer was forthcoming, although the Bianconeri hierarchy are said to have been given assurances that a move will soon be made. Before swooping for Grygera, Fener are thought to be trying to offload Brazilian centre-back Edu Dracena in order to lower their wage bill.
The problem of salaries at Fenerbahce has risen over the weekend due to Diego Lugano choosing to sign a new contract with the club, and their move for Grygera has thus been put on hold until Dracena is sold.
Juventus will want a quick resolution, as time is starting to run short for such a complex series of transfers to occur before the transfer window closes.
