Juventus Striker David Trezeguet To Start Against Lazio

David Trezeguet will no longer be wearing the famous Bianconeri colours after announcing his decision to leave the club

Juventus striker David Trezeguet is set to start his first game of the season against Lazio.

The Frenchman has not played for Juve this term, but he is likely to start in tonight's clash, according to Tuttosport. The last time 'Trezegol' started for his club was against Lazio in the Coppa Italia semi-final back in April, a game Juve lost 2-1.

Alessandro Del Piero has been left behind in Turin to continue recovering from a problem with his left leg.

Vincenzo Iaquinta has made the trip to Rome, but voices claim he will be left on the bench after playing for Italy in mid-week. It leaves Ciro Ferrara with Amauri and Trezeguet as his front two men, with Diego playing just behind.

Juve will be hoping to keep their perfect start in tact. The last time they lost at the Olimpico in Serie A against the Aquilotti was in 2003.
