Sissoko out for 4 weeks



After having undergone a bone scan which confirmed the focal area inflammation of the fractured part, yesterday, Momo Sissoko flew to Lyon for a consultation session with Professor Ferrat, accompanied by Dr. Stefanini, Juventus club doctor and by Professor Gaudino.

In light of the former radiological tests by Professor Faletti and the indications given by the orthopaedic specialists consulted, The Juventus medical staff in agreement with the player, decided to allow him to rest for 4 weeks during which he will undergo medical treatment and physiotherapy apart from training activities and the maintenance of the general muscular toning.

This period of rest is necessary to help the healing of the inflammation, the complete disappearance of the pain symptoms and the prevention of further fractures. After this period, the player will undergo further clinical tests and presumably get back to specific activities on the field.
