Only The Pitch Can Say How Far Juventus Are From Inter - Secco

Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco talked about the club's economic situation and the purchases made during the transfer campaign.

Yesterday, Juventus completed the loan transfer of defender Martin Caceres from Barcelona, and not much later sporting director Alessio Secco announced that the club doesn't plan on bringing in any more players.

They have already signed Fabio Cannavaro from Real Madrid for free, as well as Brazilian midfielders Diego and Felipe Melo from Werder Bremen and Fiorentina, respectively.

Today Secco talked about the good work done by the club over the last period and also about the club's positive economic situation.

"The data that was approved yesterday by the administration council is a reason of pride for us," he said to Rai Sport. "We are going against the tendency of many other clubs.

"We bought excellent players like Diego, Melo, and Cannavaro arrived for free. All players who were bought for the right amount of money."

On the comparison with Italian champions Inter, Secco added: "We have worked well, but only the pitch can say what the distance is between us."
