Cristian Zaccardo is eager to leave Wolfsburg to find regular football, after trainer Armin Veh decided that the 27-year-old was no longer needed at the club.
As a result, Juventus are reported to have registered an interest, as they prepare to replace Zdenek Grygera, and are set to launch a bid to take Zaccardo on loan next week, according to mediterraneonline.it..
Having moved to Germany from Palermo last summer, the right-back failed to secure a regular place in the first team under Felix Magath's stewardship. Early signs under Veh do not bode well for Zaccardo, as he has played very little during pre-season for Die Wolfe.
Although the Juventus hierarchy have announced that the Bianconeri are finished in the transfer market this summer, their full-back positions - particularly right-back - remain of concern to Ciro Ferrara.
It was previously thought that Juventus would sign Zaccardo outright, but mediterraneonline.it are reporting that the 27-year-old's personal demands could prove a stumbling block.
